Director of Coaching

                                                                                                       

Coach Mal is originally from Buffalo, NY. He has extensive experience    as both a player and a coach.  As a player, he had earned multiple State honors and a silver medal at the Empire State Games (Olympic Festival) where he was selected as the MVP of the Games.  He later played at the collegiate level on a scholarship.

Mal’s coaching experience includes coaching positions at the collegiate, high school and youth levels.  He has coached both boys and girls at the high school and youth levels.  He is a member of the National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA), United Soccer Coaches (USC), the National Federation of State High School Coaches Association (NFHS), the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA)  and the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA).   He has earned a NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, NSCAA National Diploma, USSF National D License, and Level III National Goalkeeping Diploma. 

He is the Director of Coaching for both the Recreational and Competitive programs and has created and oversees an age appropriate player development training curriculum for all club players and coaches. 

Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors as the President of the club.  He has also been a member of the coaching staff at Royal Palm Beach High School since 2011 and is a certified USSF Grade 8 referee.
