Lloyd Stewart is a Jamaican-born soccer coach with a strong background in both athletics and professional education. A former competitive player, Lloyd played soccer at the youth, collegiate, and club levels, including during his time at Excelsior Community College in Kingston, Jamaica.
In addition to his soccer background, Lloyd is a licensed CPA with an extensive academic and professional career. He studied at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica and with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in England. He later earned another degree from Florida Atlantic University and successfully completed the CPA exams, becoming licensed to practice in Florida.
Coaching Experience and Qualifications:
Lloyd has coached youth soccer in both Jamaica and South Florida, working with players at several clubs. He has completed multiple grassroots coaching courses through the United States Soccer Federation and holds the USSF National F License. He is currently pursuing the USSF National D License, with an anticipated completion date of June 2026.
Lloyd brings a thoughtful, disciplined, and development-focused approach to coaching. His experience as a player, coach, and educator allows him to support young athletes in their technical growth, decision-making, confidence, and overall development.
He resides in the Wellington area with his wife, Allison, and daughter, Chelsea.
